Write a summary of what you learned Richard.
Bring Complete Journal, and turn in in on Monday.

September 24 Homework

Take a field trip or watch a TV show.
Observe American communication from a distance.
Describe the nonverbal communication that occurs.

September 19 Homework

Ask an American parent about his/her general objective of parenting.

Say.. "What is the most important value for your children to learn?"
or
"Wht kind of person do you want your child to become?"

Sept. 17 Homework

Finish the U.S. values sheet about yourself.
Ask an American if he/she agrees or disagrees with the U.S. values.
Write about their answer in your journal.
Write your thoughts.
Ask a question.

Sept. 12 Homework

Journal

Interview an American.
Ask the person if he/she agrees with one of the values that we talked about.

Say "Do you agree with...? AND
"Please give me an example of how it is important to you."

Describe what the person says in your journal.
Interpret and Evaluate. Ask more questions if you need to.

Homework September 10

Write journal. (D.I.E. Activity)

Watch an American TV show or movie.
Describe some behavior or words that you don't understand.
Interpret the behavior by listing 2 or 3 possibilities.
Evaluate what you see by stating your opinions, feelings and thoughts.

September 5 Homework

Observe U.S. educational system, students, teachers etc. You choose.
Write a journal about what you see and learn.
Ask any questions in your journal as well.
